Wolves Fall at SUNY Poly 77-49

MARCY, N.Y. – The Keuka College Men's Basketball team lost to SUNY Poly 77-49 on Sunday in a North Eastern Athletic Conference game.

Keuka College (1-6, 1-2 NEAC) travels to Alfred State University next Saturday for their final game before the holiday break.

Greg Tyler scored 11 for Keuka College and Cliff Stevens added 10 points on a rough shooting day for the Green and Gold. Overall, Keuka College shot 22% from the floor against SUNY Poly.

Cliff Stevens made the first basket of the game for Keuka College two minutes in to tie the game at 2-2. Following that basket, the Wolves were held without a field goal for over five minutes. During that time, SUNY Poly went on an 18-1 run to take the lead in the game. Keuka made just six field goals in the half, shooting 17% from the floor. Conversely, SUNY Poly shot 47% and built a 46-19 halftime lead.

The second half played a lot more evenly, but Keuka College was unable to cut into the lead. 10 different players scored in the half as Keuka shot more consistently. A pair of free throws by Greg Tyler with just under five minutes left made it a 21 point game, 67-45. It was as close as Keuka was able to make it as SUNY Poly defeated the Wolves 77-49 on Sunday.
