MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Keuka College Men's Basketball team lost to Morrisville State College on Saturday 86-65 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference matchup.

Keuka College (6-10, 3-7 NEAC) will return home next weekend as they host Gallaudet University and Wilson College in a pair of conference games.

Casey Williams led Keuka with 21 points. Dylan Doupe added 13 points and 12 rebounds in the loss. It was the sophomore's third double-double of the season. All three have come within North Eastern Athletic Conference action.

The Green and Gold got out to a fast start on Saturday. They made their first five shots of the game against the Mustangs on their way to an early 12-6 lead. Casey Williams contributed 10 of the 12 points for Keuka. Following a Williams three pointer with 10:57 left in the first, Keuka held a 25-16 advantage. The nine point margin would end up being Keuka's largest lead of the game. Two minutes later, the margin remained at nine points, 30-21, but the Mustangs started to rally. A quick 8-0 run got it back to a one point game. Sam Brown hit a three to widen the margin, but back-to-back baskets for Morrisville tied the game at 33-33 with three minutes left in the half. The Mustangs out-scored Keuka 8-2 over the final three minutes and led 41-35 at halftime.

Morrisville State opened the second on an 8-0 run to build a double-digit lead over Keuka. The Green and Gold attempted to stay in the game, but Morrisville shot over 50% from the field and made five three-pointers in the half. Their lead would get out to 32 points with seven minutes left and the Mustangs continued onto the 86-65 victory over Keuka.
