KEUKA PARK, N.Y -- The Keuka College Men's Soccer team remained unbeaten on Saturday, defeating North Eastern Athletic Conference foe Wells College 2-0 at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.

The Green and Gold will be in action next Wednesday when they travel to Cazenovia, N.Y. to face the Wildcats. Kickoff in the North Eastern Athletic Conference match is set for 3pm.

Both teams started out the game with early chances. Paulin Kolodja broke down a pair of Express defenders and dribbled into the box. His final pass was intercepted by Wells. Minutes later, Ben Schreiber had a chip shot over the keeper slide just over the crossbar. Wells had their chances as well. Jim Duchesneau let a bending shot go from the top of the box that narrowly missed the upper right corner. The game's fast past would setting as it went on. The two teams fought for possession in the middle third a majority of the half. Both the Green and Gold and Express would put threats together, but nothing would come to fruition as the teams went into halftime scoreless.

Wells was able to get the first attack in the second half. Max Cherry got the ball in the box for the Express. His chip shot went off of the crossbar. The rebound fell to Cherry, but his volley went wide. Keuka would get their chance in the 62nd minute. Paulin Kolodja took the ball down the left side and hit a through ball into the box. Rohel Duncan beat his defender and slid the ball into the net for the 1-0 lead. Minutes later, Wells misplayed a ball in their own box resulting in an own goal, giving Keuka the 2-0 advantage. Keuka would withstand a late rush by Wells to secure the 2-0 victory.
