KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Keuka College Men's Basketball team lost their North Eastern Athletic Conference opener on Wednesday to Cazenovia College by the score of 92-70 at the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center.

Keuka (1-4, 0-1 NEAC) will travel to Cobleskill, N.Y. this weekend to take on the defending NEAC Champions, SUNY Cobleskill, on Saturday. They will then take on SUNY Poly on the road on Sunday.

Casey Williams led Keuka with 15 points. James Outlaw was also in double figures with 11 points on the night. Cliff Stevens had a team-high nine rebounds and added eight points for Keuka.

Cazenovia came out fast against Keuka and scored the opening seven points of the game. A jumper by Casey Williams got the Green and Gold on the board. The Wildcats would use quality shooting from both the free throw line and three point territory to grow a lead as many as 15 points with 4:39 left in the half. Keuka would outscore Cazenovia 14-3 over the final minutes capped by a three-pointer by Sam Brown with two seconds left to narrow the margin to four, 39-34, at the half.

Casey Williams scored the first four points of the half and Keuka quickly tied the game at 39-39. Cazenovia struck back, but Stevens made a layup and it was tied again. Keuka was unable to flip the game to their advantage, however, as the Wildcats went on a 13-2 run to push their lead back to double-digits with 12 minutes left to play. The Green and Gold was unable to bring the margin back any closer than 10 points as Cazenovia went on to defeat Keuka College 92-70.
