The Keuka College men's volleyball team split during the third North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) crossover competition, sweeping Cazenovia College and being swept by Wells College Saturday inside the Weed Physical Arts Center.

The Storm (9-13, 3-3 NEAC) lost to Wells by scores of 25-22, 25-16 and 25-23 before sweeping Cazenovia by scores of 25-10, 25-12 and 25-15.

Sophomore Connor Hinman (Lethbridge, Alberta/Catholic Central) recorded eight kills with four digs, junior Ryan Kelly (Clifton Springs, NY/Midlakes) added 7 kills with 4 digs and 2 blocks and sophomore Tom Campbell (Penfield, NY/Penfield) added six digs and five kills in the loss to the Express.

Hinman hit .357 with three errors in 14 attempts while Kelly hit .222 with three errors in 18 attempts.

Freshman Derek Hosken (Hamburg, NY/Frontier) added four kills, classmate Brandon Mitu (Richmond, B.C./A.R. MacNeill) had 22 assists, 4 digs and 4 blocks and sophomore Josh Makin (Lethbridge, Alberta/Catholic Central) recorded six digs for the Storm.

Against Cazenovia, freshman Jared Kucko (Horseheads, NY/Horseheads) recorded a career-high nine kills, sophomore Christopher Mooring (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) added seven kills with six digs and classmate Luke Ferruzza (Penfield, NY/Webster Schroeder) had four aces to lead the Storm.

Sophomore Aaron Rydzynski (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) added nine kills with three blocks while Makin had six kills and two blocks and Mooring added 6 kills, 3 aces and 2 blocks for Keuka

Keuka hit .394 as a team, recorded 10 aces and had nine total blocks in sweeping the Wildcats.

The Storm welcome NEAC rival SUNYIT to campus for a 7 p.m. clash Tuesday on Senior Night.
