The Keuka College men's volleyball team earned a split at the second of four North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) crossovers, falling to SUNYIT in four sets before knocking off Lancaster Bible College in four sets Saturday in Aurora, N.Y.

Keuka (5-11, 2-2 NEAC) dropped the first set against SUNYIT 25-21 before evening the match with a 25-21 triumph in the second set. But the Wildcats claimed the next two sets by scores of 25-16 and 25-20.

Taking on Lancaster Bible College, Keuka took the first set 25-9, dropped the second 25-19 before winning the next two sets, 25-22 and 25-23 to earn the split at Wells College.

Sophomore Connor Hinman (Lethbridge, Alberta/Catholic Central) recorded 11 kills with eight digs, classmate Tom Campbell (Penfield, NY/Penfield) added 9 kills with 3 digs and 2 blocks and senior Devin Lesch (San Diego, CA/El Cajon Valley) had eight kills and three blocks in the loss to SUNYIT.

Freshman Derek Hosken (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) added five kills and two blocks, sophomore Christopher Mooring (Chesapeake, VA/Hickory) had 15 digs and freshman John Sprague (Fairport, NY/Penfield) recorded a career-high 36 assists for the Green and Gold.

Against Lancaster, Hinman recorded his fourth double-double with 19 kills and 11 digs and Sprague recorded 36 assists with 3 kills, 3 digs and 2 blocks for Keuka.

Campbell added 8 kills, 7 digs and 3 blocks, Lesch had seven kills and two blocks, Mooring added 10 digs and sophomore Josh Makin (Lethbridge, Alberta/Catholic Central) tallied seven digs with six kills as Keuka evened its record in the NEAC.

Hinman hit a season-best .483 with five errors in 29 attempts as the Storm hit .271 as a team.

Keuka takes on Medaille College and D'Youville College on Saturday, March 15.
