Box Score Sophomore Brittany Hadley (Jasper, NY/Jasper-Troupsburg) scored a career-high 14 points while senior Mariah Mouzon (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy) posted her fifth double-double as Keuka College's women's basketball team picked up a 90-70 road win over Cazenovia Wednesday night.
It was a season-high in points for Keuka.
Mouzon scored 18 points with 10 rebounds while junior Jessica Bandrowski (Center Moriches, NY/Center Moriches) scored a season-high 27 points as the Storm improved to 11-2, 8-1 in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play.
Junior Danielle Gravel (Sidney, NY/Sidney) scored nine points, as did sophomore Erica Pendrak (Utica, NY/New York Mills), who also handed out eight assists and grabbed five rebounds as Keuka outrebounded Cazenovia 45-35.
Pendrak added eight assists and Bandrowski had 8 rebounds, 6 steals and 4 assists for the Green and Gold. Bandrowski also knocked down 6 of 10 three-pointers for Keuka.Hadley's effort topped her 13-point game against SUNYIT on Jan. 28, 2012.
A Bandrowski '3' and a Hadley jumper gave Keuka a 28-21 lead with 7:24 remaining in the opening half. That was part of an 18-3 run as Hadley scored six points, Mouzon scored five points and Gravel added four during the run.
Keuka took a 41-27 lead into halftime and while the teams traded baskets, the Green and Gold still led 71-62 when junior Casey Chamberlain (Perry, NY/Perry) made a free throw with 6:33 remaining.
That sparked Keuka on a 17-6 run as Mouzon scored six points, Bandrowski had five and freshman Mackenzie Cole (Ogdensburg, NY/Ogdensburg) made a three-point play during the run that clinched the win.
Megan McDermott scored 17 points with nine rebounds while Erin O'Malley had 17 points and four rebounds for the Wildcats (3-14, 3-6).
The Storm are home for two games this weekend: SUNYIT at 1 p.m. Saturday and SUNY Cobleskill at 1 p.m. Sunday.
