The Keuka College women's basketball team opens the 2012-13 season in Rochester, competing in the Onnie's Classic at Nazareth College. The Storm suffered a season-opening, 58-55 loss to Nazareth College in the opener, while Brockport suffered a 79-61 setback vs. Vassar College. 03:00: Off a feed from Bandrowski, Montana McDonald makes a big jumper for the Storm. Following a Brockport bucket, Bandrowski makes another layup to give Keuka a 62-50 lead. The Golden Eagles take a full timeout, trailing by 12 with 1:41 remaining.

05:00: Marshall drains a '3′ for the Golden Eagles, who now trail 56-47. Following a traveling violation, Brockport has the ball back. But Brockport is called for a charge, and Mouzon makes a layup for a 58-47 lead. … Sigrist goes 1 of 2 at the line, and the lead is 10.

7:00 remaining: Chamberlain hits a big basket, as Keuka has its largest lead, 53-41. … Mouzon at the line, makes them both, the lead is now 55-42. … Story hits a basket to slice the lead to 55-44. … Pendrak goes 1-for-2 at the line, Keuka leads 56-44.

10:00 remaining: Erica Pendrak drains a '3′ from the left wing, now it's a 46-38 Storm lead as Keuka is on a 5-0 run. …Johnson snaps that run with a '3′ of her own, but Pendrak swishes another '3′, for a 49-41 lead. … With the shot clock winding down, Hadley puts up a shot and is fouled. She made both free throws and the lead has swelled to 51-41 with 8 minutes remaining. The Storm is on a 10-3 run.

12:00 remaining: Gravel drives the lane and hits an acrobatic layup and gets fouled, but she can't complete the three-point play. Keuka leads, 41-36. Gravel then gets her hands on an errant pass and comes away with the steal. … Marshall makes a pair at the free throw line, pulling Brockport within 41-38. … Off an in-bounds pass, Gravel knocks down an 18-foot jumper to put the Storm ahead, 43-38.

14:00 remaining: Bandrowski beats her defender and goes to the rim for a layup, 37-33 Storm. Marshall answers with a triple for the Golden Eagles, but on the ensuing possession, Bandrowski nails a jumper for a 39-36 edge.

16:00 remaining: A three-second call on Brockport gives Keuka the ball back. Gravel misses a '3′, but Chamberlain forces a steal for the Storm. After collecting a rebound, Mouzon scores the Storm's first points of the half on a layup as the Storm lead, 35-33.

1:00: Hadley is fouled and makes them both for a 31-29 lead. … After forcing a turnover, Bandrowski drives and hits a layup for a four-point lead, but at the horn, Stucko makes a layup and the score is Keuka 33, Brockport 31 at the half.

03:00: Marshall snares an offensive rebound and is fouled, giving her a pair of free throws. Marshall makes both to put Brockport ahead, 25-23. … Off a pass from McDonald, Bandrowski drains the triple, as Keuka takes a 27-24 lead. … Hadley made a pair of free throws before Stucko put back a missed shot, and we're tied at 29 with one minute remaining.

04:30: Gravel hits a jumper, snapping a seven minute scoreless streak, tying the score at 22. … Bandrowski comes away with the steal and converts the layup, and on the ensuing possession, the Golden Eagles once again turn the ball over.

07:30 first half: Marshall ties the score at 20 on a 12-foot jumper. …After a missed shot, Stucko gives the Golden Eagles their first lead, 22-20 as Brockport is on a 10-2 run. … Brockport got a steal, but missed the fast-break layup. … A three-second call on Brockport gives Keuka the ball back, down 22-20.

12:00 first half: Hadley is fouled and makes both free throws, Keuka up 18 -12. … Hadley drives the lane and gets her layup to fall, Storm on a 9-3 run and now lead the Golden Eagles, 20-12. … Following a timeout, Piniewski gets fouled on the drive and hits the basket, Keuka leads 20-14. … Fortney adds a jumper and the lead is down to 20-16. … After a missed '3′, Fortney makes another layup to pull Brockport within two.

15:00 first half: Sigrist hits a fast-break layup, forcing Keuka into a timeout with Brockport on a 6-0 run. Keuka still leads, 11-9. … Brockport is applying pressure, Keuka beats it the first time, as Montana McDonald finds Szwec for a reverse layup, and a 13-9 lead. …Meg Stucko hits 1 of 2 at the line, and McDonald snares the board. … Brittany Hadley finds Szwec along left side for a wide-open '3′, but Jill Piniewski answers with a bucket as Keuka leads 16-12.

18:00 remaining first half: In a matchup of two schools with Green and Gold as their primary colors, Brockport won the tip but launched an air ball, and Keuka has possession. Brockport's Bree Fortney scored the game's first points before Bandrowski answered with a drive and one, as the Storm lead 3-2 early. Gravel knocked down a triple from the left wing, forcing Brockport to call timeout with the Storm ahead, 6-2.

Start of game: We're nearly underway at Nazareth, with the Storm taking on the Golden Eagles in the last of four Onnie's Classic contests. The starting lineup for Keuka is: Jessica Bandrowski, Danielle Gravel, Taylor Szwec, Casey Chamberlain and Mariah Mouzon. Brockport is starting Erica Johnson, Alexandra Marshall, Kelly Grinnell, Bree Fortney and Cecilia Sigrist.

Pre-game: With the money saved from not using its hotel rooms, the Keuka College women's basketball team was able to donate $400 to the "Onnie Wells Child Life Activity Fund," which is part of the Golisano Children's Hospital in Rochester. During a pre-game ceremony, the check was presented on behalf of Dr. Jorge L. Diaz-Herrera, Keuka's president, to Dr. Elizabeth McAnarney, Chair Emerita of the Department of Pediatrics at Golisano Children's Hospital.
