PENN YAN, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Golf team lost a match play dual to Nazareth University 4-2 at Lakeside Country Club in Penn Yan on Sunday.
Quinn Hansen won the closest match of the day. Hanson closed out Justin Krause from Nazareth up two with just one hole remaining.
Nathan Gillette also won his match for the Wolves. Gillette defeated Todd Wilson 4&3 to round out the scoring for the Wolves.
In the matches won by the Golden Flyers, Josh Anstett defeated
Tyler Green 4&2. Ben Thompson defeated
Nick Knoth 4&3, and Jake Elinich defeated
Caleb Strade 5&4. Charlie Calcagni won the final match, defeating
Cam Hovater 6&5.
Nathan Gillette improves to 3-1 in match play over his three-year career. It was the first win for
Quinn Hansen in his first match play dual for the Wolves.
Keuka College has a bit of a break before returning to the course on Wednesday, September 24. The Wolves compete in their home invitational as Keuka College welcomes a full field to Lakeside Country Club for the Keuka College Fall Invitational.
