PITTSFORD, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Golf team finished in sixth place in the 2025 Nazareth University Fall Invitational.
The two-round tournament started at Ravenwood Golf Club on Sunday and closed this afternoon at Locust Hill Country Club.
The Wolves stayed bunched together in the first round.
Nathan Gillette led the group with an 88.
Cam Hovater was right behind him with an 89.
The other three members of the team,
Quinn Hansen,
Nick Knoth, and
Tyler Green all shot a 90 at Ravenwood. The 90 posted by Hansen was the lowest round in his collegiate career.
Cam Hovater took the team lead when the course switched to Locust Hill. He posted three birdies in his round and shot a career-low 77 on Monday. He took 13 strokes off the previous low score by a Keuka College golfer at Locust Hill, an honor he previously held as well shooting a 90 last year. Hovater finished with a career low of 166 in the two rounds. Hovater finished in 21st place.
Nate Gillette and
Quinn Hansen also rounded out career-lows for a two-round tournament on Monday. Gillette matched his round of 88 for a 176 over the two days to take 26. Hansen set a personal record with an 183 to take 29th.
Knoth and Green rounded out the tournament field, taking 32nd and 33rd, respectively. Knoth edged Green by one stroke with a 185 while Green shot a 186.
As a team, Keuka College went +134 over par. The team score of 710 was the lowest score posted by the Wolves in the Nazareth University Fall Invitational in team history.
The tournament was the final tune-up for the Wolves before the fall portion of the Empire 8 Championship. The Green and Gold will play the first two rounds of the conference championship next week, starting Sunday, October 12, at Teugega Country Club in Rome, N.Y.
