Makya Morrison - Men's Basketball
Makya Morrison made his first three starts against conference opponents this week and had some of the best games of his career. The first-year forward started against Elmira College and posted a pair of career-highs. Morrison had 11 points and nine rebounds against the Soaring Eagles. He followed that with five points, four rebounds, and two assists against Alfred. Then on Saturday against Houghton, Morrison set a new career-high with 16 points. He added six rebounds. He filled out the stat-sheet with three assists, a block, and career-best four steals against the Highlanders.

Overall for the week, Morrison averaged 10.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. Morrison has 15 blocks on the season to lead the Wolves and ranks eighth in the Empire 8. His 15 blocks in 19 games is the best block per game average by a first-year player in the conference.
