KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — Keuka College senior Brandon MacDonell had a strong end to his career as he was named Empire 8 Men's Lacrosse Co-Player of the Week on Monday.

MacDonell begin his week playing in his final home game at Keuka College. The Wolves hosted Medaille University in an Empire 8 Conference game and MacDonell helped guide the Wolves to their first E8 win in program history. The senior tied his career-high with six goals and then added four assists for ten total points. It was a career-best in points and tied for the ninth-most in a game in program history.

He then carried that scoring momentum into Saturday's game at Russell Sage College. MacDonell again scored six goals in the game, this time finishing with seven points.

On the season, Brandon MacDonell led the Wolves with 36 goals. He finished with 51 total points, joining teammate Devon Gerhardt as the first Keuka College players since the 2019 season to record 50 points in a season.

Within the Empire 8 Conference, Brandon MacDonell ranks third in goals per game and fourth in total goals. He finished the season fifth in points per game and led the E8 in shots per game.
