Mason VanDeMortel - Men's Basketball - Newark HS
Mason VanDeMortel averaged 16 points nad 4.5 rebounds per game last week. His big performance came against conference-leading Utica University. VanDeMortel tied his career highs with 25 points and seven three-pointers against the Pioneers. Not only did he score, but he helped his teammates as well. VanDeMortel also had a career best six assists at Utica.

On the season, Mason VanDeMortel ranks second on the team in scoring, 10.1 points per game, and third in rebounding, 3.9 rebounds per game. He has made 34 threes on the year and ranks fourth in the Empire 8 in both three-point shooting and three-pointers per game.
