NEWARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Cross Country teams raced on Saturday at the Bruce Bridgeman Invitational, hosted by Finger Lakes Community College at their Newark campus.

The Keuka College Women's team won the race and the Men's team finished third.

Women's Race – 6K

Lead Wolf: Junior Kara Kowalski led the Green and Gold with a fifth place finish. Kowalski set a new career-best time of 25:56.8 in the Bruce Bridgeman Invitational.

Lead Wolf:  Logan Holthouse finished in second place in his second collegiate race. The junior ran the course in 31:00.7, finishing just 3 seconds behind the race winner.

KC Notes:

  • It was Keuka College's second time running in the Bruce Bridgeman Invitational and first time running on the Newark Campus course
  • It was the first time that Keuka College has won a cross country race, dating back to the 2012 season
  • Kara Kowalski shaved nearly two minutes off of her career-best time
  • Kowalski was one of eight Lady Wolves to set a new career-best time in the 6K
