GANSEVOORT, N.Y. — Keuka College had a pair of women's volleyball student-athletes honored as the North Eastern Athletic Conference released their annual All-Conference Teams on Wednesday.
Alyssa Rex has been named All-North Eastern Athletic Conference in each of her four years at Keuka College. Her senior year was the first time being named first team. This season, the setter ranked third in the conference in assists, assists per set, and aces in conference matches. Rex set a new career-high in kills as well while ranking in the top ten in hitting percentage. During this season, she became one of the only players in program history to record a triple-double with 13 kills, 23 assists, and 12 digs in a victory over Lancaster Bible College. Alyssa Rex finished her career with 2,559 assists, third most in program history, and 161 career aces, sixth best in school history. Rex's .235 career hitting percentage also ranked in the top ten.
Lauren Moelbert was named Second Team All-Conference as the top offensive threat for the Wolves. Moelbert ranked fourth in the NEAC with 276 kills and 3.14 kills per set. She also ranked second on the team with 42 aces on the season. During the season, Lauren Moelbert cracked the top ten list for career kills at Keuka College. She will leave Keuka with the ninth-most kills in program history as she totaled 811 over her four season.
The season for the Keuka College Women's Volleyball team ended on Tuesday with a loss in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Quarterfinals. The Wolves were in the postseason for the second straight season and finished the year with an 11-19 record.
