MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Keuka College Women's Volleyball team got swept by Morrisville State in a North Eastern Athletic Conference North Division matchup.
Keuka College (4-12, 2-2 NEAC) had a team-high seven kills from seniors Jadine Buddingh and Katelyn Warren. Warren also added six total blocks with a pair of solo and four assisted. Alyssa Rex had 23 assists for the Wolves and also led the Green and Gold with nine digs in the match.
Morrisville State 3 (25, 25, 25) vs. Keuka College 0 (22, 17, 20)
The Wolves had a strong open to the match on Thursday. They had 14 kills overall in the frame. With the match tied at 14-14, the Mustangs scored six straight to take hold of the set. Keuka responded with four unanswered, making it 20-18, but that would as close as they got it, losing the opening set 25-22.
Morrisville State had an opening run in the second set, winning nine of 10 points to take a 12-6 lead. After Keuka College rallied to tie the match at 14-14, the Mustangs scored six unanswered again to regain control of the set. Morrisville scored the final four points of the second, taking a 2-0 lead in the match with a 25-17 set victory.
In the third set, Keuka College led 14-10 before Morrisville went on a run. The Mustangs scored 10 straight points to take a 20-14 lead over Keuka. The Wolves rallied, pulling it back to a two-point deficit, 22-20, but Morrisville State closed out the third set 25-20, winning the match in three sets.
- Thursday was just the fourth time Keuka College has lost to Morrisville State in 21 meetings since 2008.

Coming up for Keuka College: The Wolves return home this weekend, hosting the College of St. Elizabeth at the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center on Saturday. Keuka College has won all eight meetings with the Eagles, only dropping set dating back to 2008.
