KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — Keuka College topped Elmira College on the pitch on Tuesday as Emily McGuigan would continue to add to her career goal total, scoring the 61st goal of her collegiate career. Karoline Williams added her first collegiate goal as Keuka would defeat the Soaring Eagles 3-0, moving to 10-3 on the season.

The first 25 minutes of the game were a hard fought battle between both teams with plenty of offensive chances coming for the Wolves and only a couple for the Soaring Eagles. None of these scoring chances would amount to anything for either team until there were a little over 15 minutes left in the first half. Keuka would strike first, with Emily McGuigan continuing to add to her impressive career goal total, scoring her 61st career goal, weaving in and out of traffic down the field and capping it off with the ball in the back of the net. The rest of the half would be all Keuka as they totaled 11 shots in the half to Elmira's two. Although Keuka had plenty of scoring chances, they would finish the half still up 1-0.

The action would start early for the Wolves in the second half as Grace Wolf would score her fourth goal of the season with a beautiful free kick from just outside the box less than ten minutes in. The Wolves would again have a scoring chance within ten minutes of the half starting as they would place a shot off the crossbar, almost scoring their third goal of the game, but the Wolves would remain up 2-0. Keuka would get that third goal eventually as Karoline Williams would score the first goal of her collegiate career on a loose ball from a Wolves corner kick. The entire second half was dominated by the Wolves as they would finish the game with a total of 21 shots.

Keuka College will take to the road this weekend as they travel to Pennsylvania to face Penn St.-Harrisburg in a North Eastern Athletic Conference game on Saturday.
