KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Soccer team defeated Morrisville State 1-0 on Saturday in a North Eastern Athletic Conference match at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
Keuka College (4-3, 3-0 NEAC) got its lone goal from senior captain Vera Freda.

The Wolves controlled possession for most of the first half, but Keuka College was unable to break through. Keuka held a 13-1 advantage in shots, but only placed five on goal, with each attempt stopped. All of the Keuka College attack came in the run of play as the Wolves did not have a corner kick in the half. The two teams would go into the halftime break with the game scoreless.
The Green and Gold continued to control possession and attack. In the 56th minute, the Wolves would take the lead. Abby Richards sent in a corner kick. The ball was loose in the box and hit home by Vera Freda to make it 1-0. The Wolves had multiple chances to grow their lead, but the Mustang keeper stood tall. However, as Keuka continued to attack, Morrisville State was unable to possess the ball. The Mustangs did not have a shot in the half as Keuka College defeated Morrisville State 1-0.
