Oglesby Posts Career-Night in Wolves Win

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — Sophomore Julia Oglesby scored three goals and added three assists as the Wolves defeated Wells College 9-0 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference Game at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.

Emily McGuigan added a pair of goals for Keuka College (3-3, 3-0 NEAC). Morgan Fuller, Vera Freda, Emily Cook, and Sierra Barker also added goals in the win.

Keuka College 9 vs. Wells College 0

Keuka College controlled possession throughout the first half. The Green and Gold opened the scoring in the 11th minute as Oglesby found Fuller for the goal. That would spark the Keuka College offense as Julia Oglesby would score the next three goals in a 12-minute span. By the 23rd minute, it was 4-0 Keuka. The Wolves would take that lead into halftime.

Emily McGuigan opened the scoring for the Wolves in the second half, finding the back of the net 1:33 into the half. She added to her goal total minutes later. The Green and Gold would build their lead to 9-0 and play out the final 30 minutes of the game to defeated Wells College on Wednesday.

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves remain at home on Saturday as they host Morrisville State as a part of Green and Gold Celebration Weekend at Keuka College. Kickoff between the Wolves and the Mustangs is slated for 3pm from the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
