ALFRED, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Soccer team lost on Saturday to hosts Alfred University by the score of 2-1 in a non-conference matchup.

Alfred University got off to a fast start with multiple shots on the Wolves' goal. The Saxons earned the first goal of the game in the 17th minute. Alfred then doubled their lead in the 32nd minute. Keuka College would be outshot 8-2 in the half as the Saxons led 2-0 at the half.
Keuka College attempted to get back in the game in the second half. The Wolves had the advantage with five shots and two corner kicks in the half. In the 73rd minute, Sarah Tyler cut the lead in half with a goal. The Wolves would get a late shot and corner kick, but would be unable to tie the match as they were defeated by Alfred University 2-1 on Saturday night.

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves now enter a string of six straight North Eastern Athletic Conference games. The Green and Gold open the stretch next Saturday at Morrisville State. Keuka College is a perfect 9-0 in nine meetings with the Mustangs.
