WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Keuka College team lost on Sunday afternoon at Lycoming College by the score of 2-0 in women's soccer.
Kenna Kosinski made eight saves in goal for Keuka College (1-5, 0-0 NEAC). The Wolves had eight shots on goal in the game, four off the foot of sophomore Jessie Hammers.

The game opened with both teams getting shots on goal early on, with both goalies standing up to the task. The Warriors got on the board first in the 24th minute. Their keeper punted the ball down field. Lycoming won the ball and sent a breakaway with a quick flick to make it 1-0. Lycoming carried that lead into halftime.
Their lead doubled in the 68th minute, making the score 2-0. The Wolves were able to generate pressure on the Warriors' goal with eight total shots in the half. However, none of them were able to beat the keeping and break the shutout as Keuka College would go onto lose at Lycoming 2-0.
- The two sides first met in 1994. Sunday was the sixth all-time meeting between the schools, but the first since the 2000 season. Despite the loss, Keuka College holds a 5-1 lead in the all-time series

Coming up for Keuka College: The North Eastern Athletic Conference schedule is next for Keuka College. The Wolves travel to SUNY Cobleskill next Saturday for their first conference game of the season. The Green and Gold defeated the Fighting Tigers 8-0 last season and have a 10-0 record all-time against SUNY Cobleskill.
