CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – The Keuka College Women's Soccer team picked up a 7-2 win on the road over Wilson College.
Keuka College (6-3, 5-1 NEAC) will return to the Jephson Community Athletic Complex next Saturday, hosting the College of St. Elizabeth at 1pm.
Much like yesterday's game against Gallaudet, the Green and Gold got off to a fast start, netting five goals in the first half. McGuigan found the back of the net, a little over three minutes into the game. A few minutes later, she chipped in another shot from the center box, scoring her fourteenth goal this season. The Wolves continued their offensive onslaught three minute later when Allison Ariola netted a shot from the left side of the field. Keuka would sustain their strong play over the remainder of the half and entered the break with a 5-0 lead.
Entering the second half, Keuka was determined keep their early lead. Two minutes into the half, Nicole Browe found a hole in the defense and extended the Keuka lead to 6-0. The remainder of the game was a bit more balanced, and the Phoenix were able to trade goals with the Wolves, bringing the final score to 7-2.
