ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Keuka College Women's Soccer team earned their first win of the season on Sunday afternoon, defeating Purchase College 4-0 in the Erinn K. Brozman Cup at Hartwick College.

The Wolves (1-2) now have a week to prepare for their North Eastern Athletic Conference opener against Wells College.

Emily McGuigan scored the first two goals for Keuka, the first of her collegiate career. Brooke Guernsey scored for the second consecutive game and Carly Sanford also added a goal.

Keuka College came out fast against Purchase. They had multiple shots against the Panther goal in the opening minutes of play. The Green and Gold broke through in the 14th minutes as Allison Ariola set up McGuigan for the goal. A minute and three seconds later, McGuigan struck again. Nicole Browe found McGuigan cutting down the middle and the freshman scored for her second goal of the day. The Wolves would carry a 2-0 lead into the break.

In the second half, Browe helped set up Keuka's third goal. She dribbled the ball in and found Brooke Guernsey who scored her second goal in as many days for the Wolves. Carly Sanford added a late tally to widen the margin to 4-0. Talia Cruz made a pair of saves in just under 80 minutes of action to earn her first collegiate win in goal as Keuka College defeated Purchase College 4-0.
