The Green and Gold entered Saturday's game looking to take control of the game early. They were able to accomplish that. Danielle Desimone let a shot go from the box that was saved, but the rebound found Talia Cruz who gave Keuka a 1-0 lead in the 9th minute. The goal was the first of Cruz's collegiate career. Keuka would get a second tally in the half when Darian Staufer found Desimone for a goal in the 20th minute. Keuka carried the 2-0 lead into the halftime break.
Keuka College got back on the board in the 65th minute. Sarah Hartman converted a penalty kick opportunity for her first goal of the season. The Green and Gold continued to pressure and once again controlled the play for most of the half. Talia Cruz notched her second tally of the day in the 83rd minute. She curled a free kick from 30 yards out to the near post and over the keeper for the 4-0 advantage. In the dying seconds of the game, a corner kick by Cruz found the head of Sarah Hartman to give Keuka the 5-0 victory.
