Thayer Named Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. — Keuka College junior goalie Ally Thayer was named Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week on Monday by the North Eastern Athletic Conference.  

Thayer had a 2-0 week in goal as the Wolves remain undefeated on the season. She made 11 saves in a mid-week victory over Wells College. She then made eight saves and allowed just two goals in just under 40 minutes in goal against Lancaster Bible College on Sunday.

Ally Thayer ranks second in the NEAC with a 7.11 goals against average this season. She leads the league with eight wins. Thayer has posted a 56.9 save percentage in NEAC games, leading the conference.

The Women's Lacrosse team will close the 2018 regular season on the road. The Green and Gold will travel to Hilbert College on Friday and then end the regular season at Medaille College on Saturday afternoon.
