KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Lacrosse team defeated hosts Alfred University 19-1 on Wednesday.

Keuka College controlled the play from the start of the game. Keuka College outshot the Saxons 24-6 in the frame. Vanesssa Tsarevich started the scoring for the Wolves with a goal off of a free position shot and Keuka College did not look back. Keuka College scored 12 unanswered goals in the next 20 minutes. The Wolves carried a 12-0 lead into the break at halftime.
Alfred University scored 38 seconds into the second half to snap the Keuka run, but the Wolves responded. Kendall Neuberger scored a pair of goals that started a 7-0 run by Keuka College to close the game. The Wolves went on to defeat Alfred University 19-1.

Up Next for Keuka College: North Eastern Athletic Conference play opens this weekend for Keuka College. The Wolves will travel to Bryn Athyn College to face the Lions on Saturday. The Green and Gold will then play at Penn St.-Abington on Sunday.
