Keuka College Women’s Golf Wins at Elmira

ELMIRA, N.Y. — For the first time in program history, the Keuka College Women's Golf team has won at Elmira College.

The Wolves shot a 377 to top Elmira College and Nazareth College on Tuesday at the Elmira College Spring Invitational at Elmira Country Club.

Elmira College Spring Invitational – Par 71

Lead Wolf: Teammates Shannon Sprague and Holly Reynolds tied for second place in the 14-player field. They each shot a +17, 88 on Tuesday. Both posted a birdie on their card and closed the round with impressive back nines as Reynolds came in with a +5, 42, and Sprague posted a +7, 44.

Rest of the Pack: 4. Megan Geariety – +21, 92

9. McKayla Nolan – 109, +38

KC Notes:

  • It was the fifth time in the last three seasons that the Wolves competed at Elmira Country Club. Keuka College has previous posted three second place finishes
  • The 377 was the lowest score shot as a team at Elmira Country Club
  • The Wolves have seen individual success at the Elmira College Invitational. A Keuka College golfer has claimed either first or second place in each tournament at Elmira
