Senior Danielle Gravel (Sidney, NY/Sidney) drained a '3' late in regulation to force overtime, but the Keuka College women's basketball team fell to conference rival SUNYIT 77-75 in overtime Monday night in Marcy, N.Y.

Senior Jessica Bandrowski (Center Moriches, NY/Center Moriches) scored 19 points with 4 rebounds and 3 steals and junior Brittany Hadley (Jasper, NY/Jasper-Troupsburg) added 14 points and five rebounds off the bench for Keuka, which lost despite forcing SUNYIT into 23 turnovers while creating 13 steals.

Freshman Katie Stuart (Tupper Lake, NY/Tupper Lake) added 11 points while senior Taylor Szwec (Candor, NY/Candor) tallied 7 rebounds with 5 points, 3 steals and 3 assists for Keuka (10-7, 9-3 North Eastern Athletic Conference).

Gravel finished with eight points while junior Erica Pendrak (New Hartford, NY/New York Mills) added nine points and four rebounds for the Green and Gold.

Gravel's trifecta capped an 11-3 run by Keuka as the Storm rallied from a 67-59 deficit to force overtime.

Hadley knocked down a jumper to put Keuka up 72-70 20 seconds into overtime, but a layup from Abbey Hanehan (22 points) tied the game and the Wildcats (13-6, 10-1) took a 73-72 lead on a free throw from Emily Alicea (14 points) with 3:30 remaining.

Stuart hit a free throw to knot the score with 3:18 to play, and after a SUNYIT free throw, Stuart got a steal and hit a fast-break layup to give Keuka a 75-74 lead with 1:16 remaining.

Both teams committed turnovers on their ensuing possessions, and with 18 seconds left, Ashley Cox (12 points) hit a '3' to give SUNYIT a 77-75 lead. Keuka missed a jumper, got the offensive rebound and had a good look at a game-winning '3', but the shot was blocked with no time left on the clock as the Wildcats pulled out the win.

The Storm trailed by as many as 19 points in the opening half and were down 38-19 with 3:04 remaining before halftime. Bandrowski hit a layup in transition and scored seven straight points to spark the Storm on a 9-0 run to close out the half down 39-28.

Keuka trailed 47-30 before applying a full-court press, and the Storm went on an 11-2 run to claw within 49-41 with 11:03 remaining. IT led by at least nine points for much of the second half, but after Hadley hit a lay-in, Keuka's deficit was down to 60-55 with 4:35 remaining.

IT's lead grew to 67-59 on a layup from Lauren Knowles with 2:43 to play, but senior Casey Chamberlain (Perry, NY/Perry) knocked down a '3' and Hadley added a jumper as Keuka trailed 68-64 with 37 seconds remaining in regulation.

Bandrowski hit a '3' to pull Keuka within 68-67 with 25 seconds remaining, but the Storm still trailed 70-67 after Geena Gallo hit a pair of free throws with 17 seconds left.

Off a timeout, Gravel hit the game-tying '3' with five seconds left, and IT missed the game-winning layup at the buzzer, forcing overtime.

The Green and Gold hit the road for a big NEAC contest at Lancaster Bible College at 8 p.m. Friday night before hosting Wilson College at 1 p.m. Sunday.
