CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — The Keuka College Men's Volleyball team defeated hosts Wilson College in five sets in a North Eastern Athletic Conference match on Sunday.
Keuka College (5-12, 2-3 NEAC) was led by Connor Gail with 15 kills. Freshman Gavin Record set a new career-high 14 kills. Nick Cantando led with 20 digs and senior Chris Corcoran had 41 assists to go with his 10 digs.
Keuka College 3 at Wilson College 2 – 25-23, 23-25, 23-25, 25-21, 15-9
The Wolves won the opening set 25-23, but the Phoenix flipped the script in the second, winning the frame 25-23. That score would prevail in the third set as well as Wilson College took a 2-1 lead in the match.
Keuka College responded in the fourth to extend the match. The Green and Gold had 10 kills in the set against just two errors as they defeated Wilson 25-21 to force a fifth and final set. In that fifth set, Keuka had their best attacking set of the match. The Wolves had 10 kills and just one error as they won the fifth set 15-9, winning the match 3-2.
