GANSEVOORT, N.Y.— In helping lead Keuka College to a perfect 3-0 week, junior Connor Gail was named Men's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week by the North Eastern Athletic Conference.
The Wolves swept all three matches of the Keuka College Invitational, defeating Southern Vermont College, Purchase College, and Alvernia University each in straight sets.
Connor Gail opened the weekend with an 11 kill performance against the Mountaineers of Southern Vermont. Gail only committed three errors in the match an finished with a .421 hitting percentage, ranking in the top 10 in a 3-set match in school history.
On Saturday, Gail followed it up with an eight kill, nine dig game against Purchase College. In the final match against Alvernia, he came one kill short of his season-high. Gail had 14 kills against the Crusaders and finished with a .478 hitting percentage.
On the season, Connor Gail leads Keuka College with 152 kills, averaging 3.10 per set. His kill per set average ranks fifth in the North Eastern Athletic Conference.
The Wolves will return to North Eastern Athletic Conference play this weekend with three matches in Pennsylvania. The NEAC Crossover will be hosted by Penn St.-Altoona, but the matches will be played at Mt. Aloysius College. Keuka College will face Wilson College, Lancaster Bible College, and Penn St.-Altoona.
