Keuka College Falls in Four Sets to Altoona

ALTOONA, PA – The Keuka College Men's Volleyball team lost to hosts Penn St.-Altoona on Friday afternoon in a North Eastern Athletic Conference crossover.

Keuka College (11-9, 6-6 NEAC) will take on Wilson College and Lancaster Bible on Saturday to complete the weekend event.

Errors hurt the efficiency of the Keuka attack on Friday. In the match, they had a .109 kill percentage. It was the lowest in the first set as they had 13 kills and 10 errors in 38 attacks for a .079 hitting percentage. They were still in the first set, but Altoona won in 25-23. It was the same score in the second, with Keuka just narrowly falling. The Green and Gold turned it around in the third set. They had 10 kills and just four errors in the frame as they took the set 25-22. In a back and forth fourth set, Penn St.-Altoona would pull it out at the end for the 25-23 victory, taking the key conference match 3-1/

Connor Hinman led the Keuka attack with 15 kills. Also in double figures was Connor Gail with 13. Chris Corcoran finished with 25 assists and Cooper Lyon added 17 digs in the loss.
