MARCY, N.Y. – The Keuka College Men's Volleyball team dropped a five set match to North Eastern Athletic Conference leading Medaille College on Sunday afternoon.
Keuka College (11-8, 6-5 NEAC) will return to action next weekend in another conference crossover weekend. They will face host Penn St.-Altoona on Friday and then take on Wilson College and Lancaster Bible on Saturday.
After dropping the first two sets to the Mavericks, Keuka College started a rally. The Green and Gold hit 28 kills in the next two sets and forced Medaille into 16 errors. Keuka won the third set 25-23 and the fourth 25-22 to force a fifth and deciding set. In the final set, the Mavericks hit .381 and narrowly pulled it out 15-13 over Keuka for the 3-2 match victory.
Four players posted double-digit kills for Keuka. As a team, Keuka totaled 55 kills, second most this season. Connor Hinman led the way with 14 kills. Connor Gail added 12 for Keuka. Tom Campbell and Aaron Brill each finished with 10. Chris Corcoran posted a season's-best 32 assists for Keuka. Cooper Lyon finished with 19 digs and Josh Makin added six blocks, a season-high.
