KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Keuka College Men's Volleyball fell at home on Saturday to the SUNY Poly Wildcats in straight sets in a North Eastern Athletic Conference matchup at the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center.
Keuka College (9-6, 4-3 NEAC) will remain in conference play but take to the road this week. They will travel to Wells College on Wednesday night.
In a tight match, SUNY Poly took the opening set by a score of 25-22. The Green and Gold would hold a lead in the second set of four points, 17-13, but the Wildcats converted six straight points to regain control in the set and would go on to take the second 25-23. It was another run by Poly that gave them the third set. With the set tied at 15-15, the Wildcats had a 6-0 run to take the lead. They would win the third set 25-22 and the match 3-0.
Connor Hinman led Keuka on the day with 15 kills. Aaron Brill had nine kills and seven digs while Connor Gail added seven kills. Splitting the duties of setter, Spencer Avery had 18 assists and Chris Corcoran had 16 for the Green and Gold.
