Keuka College Splits on NEAC Opening Day

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Keuka College Men's Volleyball team split its opening day at a North Eastern Athletic Conference Crossover hosted by Medaille College.

Keuka College (4-3, 1-1 NEAC) will conclude their first NEAC Crossover Weekend on Sunday as they face D'Youville College at 2pm on Sunday.

In their opening match of the day, the Green and Gold fell to host Medaille College in four sets. In a tightly played match with the preseason pick to win the conference, three of the four sets were decided by just two points.

Connor Hinman led Keuka with 19 kills against the Mavericks. Aaron Brill had 11 kills and Connor Gail had a career-high 10 kills against just one error. Chris Corcoran and Spencer Avery had 25 and 22 assists, respectively. Cooper Lyon finished with a match-high 14 digs.

In the afternoon against Hilbert College, Keuka defeated the Hawks in straight sets. The Green and Gold had 38 kills in the three set victory.

Connor Gail led the team in kills. He broke his career-high that was set earlier in the day with 12 kills. He did it without an error in the match. Cooper Lyon added 13 digs and Chris Corcoran led the team with 17 assists.
