Four different student-athletes recorded seven or more kills as the Keuka College men's volleyball team swept Hilbert College on day two of the second Keuka College Invitational Saturday inside the Weed Physical Arts Center.
Sophomore Connor Hinman (Lethbridge, Alberta/Catholic Central) recorded 11 kills with seven digs and classmate Tom Campbell (Penfield, NY/Penfield) had 8 kills with 8 digs and 3 service aces to power the Storm (8-12).
Senior Devin Lesch (San Diego, Calif./El Cajon Valley) recorded seven kills with six blocks and freshman Derek Hosken (Hamburg, NY/Frontier) added eight kills and four blocks for Keuka, which prevailed by scores of 25-18, 25-23 and 27-25.
Lesch hit .583 after compiling no errors in 12 attempts, while Hinman hit .304 with four errors in 23 attempts. Hosken hit .333 with three errors in 15 attempts and Campbell hit .240 with two errors in 25 attempts as the Green and Gold hit .308 as a team (11 errors in 91 attempts).
The Storm host Cazenovia, Lancaster Bible College, SUNYIT and Wells on Saturday, March 29 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) crossover competition.
Keuka takes on Wells College at 3 p.m. and Cazenovia College at 5 p.m. Saturday.
