The Saxons controlled possession early on Wednesday with Keuka College relying on the counter attack. The Wolves created pressure but were always a step too quick with six offsides called against them in the half. Humberto Flores had a quality chance in the 10th minute as he hit a dipping volley from the edge of the box, but a diving saved denied the senior. The Green and Gold continued to showcase their speed and press down the wings. Joshua Card raced down the left side and sent a cross into the box to Seth Spurgeon. Spurgeon ran onto the end of it and let a hard shot go. The ball was saved by the charging Saxon keeper, but fell behind him. However, Alfred was able to clear the ball to safety as the game went to halftime scoreless.
In the second half, Keuka College would not be denied. On 51 minutes, Damian Rutan carried the ball down the left side of the box near the touch line. He sent a pass across to the far post, finding Seth Spurgeon for the goal and 1-0 lead. Minutes later, the Wolves doubled their lead as Abdikarim Maalo sent a corner kick in and found the head of Claude Tuyishimire for the goal, repeating their scoring combination from Saturday. The Green and Gold put a bow on the performance in the 87th minute, again off of a corner. The kick came into the box and both teams fought for possession. Suleman Sey collected the loose ball and slid it to his left and Jared Burns. Burns spun and let a shot go that bounced off the bottom of the crossbar and in as the Wolves defeated the Saxons 3-0.
