Following a slow start to the game where the two teams battled for possession, it was SUNY Cobleskill who struck first in the 28th minute to take the lead. The Wolves would take three of their four corner kicks in the half in a 30 second span as they threatened the Cobleskill goal. On the third of the three corners, Christian Cupello curved his right footed corner kick over the keeper and directly into the net to give Keuka College the 2-1 lead in the 59th minute. The Wolves added to their lead 15 minutes later. Playing on the counter, Joshua Card had a quick, one-touch volley to find Chris Millard on the break. The junior finished it for the 3-1 advantage.
