SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Soccer team lost at Skidmore College on Saturday to the host Thoroughbreds by the score of 1-0.
Ryan Mavretish made five saves in goal for Keuka College (0-2).

Skidmore controlled the play early, building attacks on the Keuka College goal. The Thoroughbreds found the back of the net in the 14th minute as a long throw-in was headed home for the 1-0 lead. Keuka College settled into the game, but the flow of the game was controlled by the hosts. Skidmore had a 9-1 advantage and shots and 6-2 advantage in corners, but the Wolves defense would hold as the game went to halftime with the score 1-0.
The Green and Gold increased the pressure in the second half. They were able to generate four shots in the final 45 minutes, but were unable to break through. Neither team would score in the half as the Wolves fell to the Thoroughbreds 1-0 on Saturday.

Their stretch of road games continues on Wednesday as they travel to face the Rochester Institute of Technology on Wednesday, September 5. The Tigers are undefeated against the Wolves in six meetings. Keuka College lost to RIT 6-1 last season.
