Wolves Fall at Home to Lions

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Lacrosse team lost at home on Wednesday to Bryn Athyn College by the score of 19-8 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference game.

Mark Shattuck led Keuka College (7-5, 3-3 NEAC) with five goals in the game. Andrew Burns added two goals for the Wolves.

The Wolves scored first as Mark Shattuck found the back of the net four minutes into the game. Bryn Athyn responded with two goals to take the lead, but Andrew Burns would tie it up. The Lions scored the final three goals of the quarter to lead 5-2 after one.

The two teams traded goals to start the quarter, but once again Bryn Athyn closed the frame with a three-goal run. Bryn Athyn was ahead at the half 9-3.

The Lions pulled away in the third quarter. Bryn Athyn outscored Keuka 9-1 in the third quarter to build an 18-4 lead.

Keuka College would out-score Bryn Athyn 4-1 in the final quarter, but it was not enough as Bryn Athyn College continued onto the 19-8 NEAC victory.
