BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Keuka College Men's Lacrosse team suffered their second North Eastern Athletic Conference loss of the season on Saturday, falling at Bryn Athyn College by the score of 16-2.

Craig Gerhardt scored 1:20 into the game to give Keuka College and early lead on Saturday afternoon. Following a pair of goals by the Lions, Marco Carney found the back of the net to tie the game at 2-2 with 5:25 left in the first quarter. That would be the final goal of the game for Keuka College. Bryn Athyn College outscored the Wovles 14-0 over the final 50:25 of the game as the Lions defeated the Wolves 16-2.
Running Into A Wall: The low scoring output by Keuka College was not for a lack of trying. The Wolves had 31 shots on Saturday. In the third quarter alone, Keuka College outshot Bryn Athyn 14-4, but the Lions outscored Keuka 4-0 in that quarter. Overall, Bryn Athyn had 18 saves in the game against Keuka College.
- It was Keuka's first loss to Bryn Athyn. The Wolves still hold a 2-1 lead in the series with the Lions
- The two goals tied Keuka's total earlier this season against Cazenovia as the fewest ever scored by the Green and Gold in a North Eastern Athletic Conference history
- The loss is only the 9th in school history in an NEAC game and it is the first time since the 2010 season that Keuka College has lost two conference games
Coming up for Keuka College: The Wolves return home to host SUNY Cobleskill in a North Eastern Athletic Conference game on Wednesday afternoon at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex. The Wolves defeated the Fighting Tigers 19-5 last season and have won all nine meetings between the two teams.
