CAZENOVIA, N.Y. – The Keuka College Men's Lacrosse team lost to Cazenovia College 14-2 on Saturday in a North Eastern Athletic Conference game at Cazenovia.

In a very low scoring first quarter, Keuka College got on the board first as Mark Shattuck scored with 43 seconds left in the quarter. The lead was short-lived as Cazenovia scored 35 seconds later, tying the game at 1-1 after the first quarter. The Wildcats took over from there. The goal at the end of the first quarter sparked 13 straight for Cazenovia as they held Keuka College scoreless for nearly 40 minutes. After Keuka broke the run with a goal by Craig Gerhardt, Cazenovia added one more as they defeated Keuka College 14-2 on Saturday.
Power Outage: Keuka College entered Saturday averaging 19 goals per game against NEAC opponents. The two goals scored is the fewest Keuka College has ever scored in a North Eastern Athletic Conference game.

- Matt Mahalick had a team-high six groundballs on Saturday. He now has 190 in his career, passing Chris Sullivan '09 for second all-time
Coming up for Keuka College: The Wolves return home to the Jephson Community Athletic Complex on Wednesday, April 12 to face Hilbert College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference game. Keuka College defeated Hilbert 19-5 last season and are a perfect 8-0 against the Hawks all-time.
