The Keuka College men's and women's lacrosse teams have a busy weekend, with each squad hosting North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) foes.
The Storm's home games on Saturday have new start times, with the Keuka women (4-2) taking on Cazenovia (1-5, 0-1) in the Storm's NEAC opener at 12 p.m., followed by the Storm men (5-0, 1-0 NEAC) taking on rival Morrisville State (8-2, 2-0) at 2:30 p.m.
Both contests will occur on the turf field at Penn Yan Academy.
The Storm men are coming off a 16-3 win over NEAC rival Cazenovia College in the Green and Gold's conference opener.
Sophomore Matt Beebe (Syracuse, NY/LaFayette) scored three goals with one assist and senior Connor Latimer (Whitby, Ont./Father Leo J. Austin) added two goals with three assists as Keuka remained perfect on the year.
Juniors Cory Gray (Seneca Castle, NY/Midlakes) and James Voigt (Penn Yan, NY/Penn Yan) each added three goals while freshman Jordan Growney (Fairport, NY/Fairport) added two goals and sophomore Brendan King (Auburn, NY/Auburn) handed out two assists for the Storm.
Freshman Jamie Kuppel (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) added a goal and an assist, while senior Kenny Cannon (East Syracuse, NY/East Syracuse-Minoa) had six groundballs and classmate Zachary Koczent (Geneva, NY/Geneva) collected five groundballs as Keuka enjoyed a 36-27 edge in groundballs.
Keuka has won six of the last nine matchups with Morrisville State, including an 11-5 win in the 2013 NEAC semifinals and an 8-7 triumph in the 2011 title game.
