UTICA, N.Y. – The Keuka College Men's Golf team finished in eight place over the weekend at the Utica College Fall Invitational, hosted at Yahnundasis Golf Club in Utica, N.Y.

The Wolves shot a 363 in the first round on Saturday. They knocked 16 strokes off their score on Sunday with a 347. Their 710 total score was good for eighth in the 10 team field.

Utica College Fall Invitational – Par 71 (2 rounds)

Lead Wolf: Senior Ryan Piersimoni led the way for the Green and Gold. He shot an 85 (+14) in the opening round to sit in a tie for 19th place. He then followed it up with an 87 (+16) on Sunday to finish with a 172 total score. The senior was the top finisher for the Wolves in a tie for 25th.

KC Notes:

  • Clayton Chandler shot a +13 on Sunday. His total of 84 and score to par set a new career-best for a single round
  • Senior Rory Doremus broke his old career-best two-round score of 177 by two strokes with his 175 this weekend. He also topped his best score to par by four strokes.

Coming up for Keuka College: It will be a quick turnaround for the Keuka College Men's Golf team. The Wolves compete in the Elmira College Fall Invitational at Elmira Country Club on Tuesday afternoon.
