COBLESKILL, N.Y. – The Keuka College Men's Golf team concluded their 2015-16 season on Friday at the SUNY Cobleskill Spring Invitational.
The one day tournament was played at the par 70 Cobleskill Golf and Country Club.
Keuka College finished in fourth place in the tournament out of five teams. The Green and Gold shot a 347 and finished just one stroke behind Johnson State College for third place. The tournament was won by the hosts, SUNY Cobleskill who shot a +27, 307 as a team.
Nic Romano was the top finisher for Keuka. He finished in a tie for 11th place with an 84. The freshman finished his season shooting 11 rounds for Keuka College with an 85.91 average.
Ryan Piersimoni finished two strokes behind Romano in 14th place with an 86. Two strokes behind him was Rory Doremus who shot an 88. One stroke above him was Lucas Labuski, finishing in 18th place with an 89 to round out the team scoring for Keuka. The 89 by Labuski was the best round of the season for the freshman.
