PENN YAN, N.Y. – The Keuka College Men's Golf team finished in third place at the home Spring Invitational on Wednesday hosted at Lakeside Country Club.

The Green and Gold finished with a team score of 326, just one stroke back of North Eastern Athletic Conference foe SUNY Cobleskill and nine back of Division II Daemen College for first place.

Ryan Piersimoni shot the low round of the day for Keuka with a +7, 79. That placed him in a tie for fifth place overall, just three strokes back of the top. Joseph Petrie finished one stroke behind Piersimoni, shooting an 80. Nic Romano shot an 83 and Tom Reynolds closed with an 84 to round out the team scoring for Keuka.

The Green and Gold entered a second team in the tournament. That group was led by Lucas Labuski who shot a 97.

Keuka College will now prepare of the North Eastern Athletic Conference Championship. The two-day tournament will start on Saturday, April 23 and will be hosted by SUNY Cobleskill.
