The Keuka College men's golf team recorded a two-day team score of 673 to place fourth at the annual North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) championships Sunday at the Pennsauken Country Club in Pennsauken, N.J.
A pair of Keuka student-athletes — freshman Ryan Piersimoni (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) and classmate Michael Parrow (Waterloo, N.Y./Waterloo) — earned All-NEAC honors for placing among the top 15 finishers.
Piersimoni carded a second-round score of 83 and finished with a two-day score of 164 to tie for eighth place and earn second-team All-NEAC honors.
Parrow earned third-team All-NEAC after shaving a stroke off of his opening round score, carding an 82 on the par-70, 6,250-yard course to place in a tie for 11th with a 165.
Junior Ben Schreiber (Hilton, N.Y./Hilton) finished tied for 18th after shaving three strokes off of his opening round score. Schreiber totaled an 84 and finished with a score of 171 as Keuka's third best finisher.
Sophomore Joseph Petrie (Sanborn, N.Y./Starpoint) finished tied for 20th after his round of 90 (two-day score of 173), while freshman Rory Doremus (Ilion, N.Y./Notre Dame) finished 29th after his round of 91 (two-day score of 184).
The University of Rutgers-Camden earned its third consecutive NEAC title with a two-day score of 620, 36 shots better than runner-up Penn State-Abington (656).
SUNY Cobleskill (661) was third, followed by Keuka, Morrisville State (685), Penn College of Technology (688), Penn State-Berks (739) and Wilson (Pa.) College (753).
Abington's Mike Lam shot a two-day score of 149 to edge Nick Baird (Rutgers-Camden) for the individual title.
Keuka concludes the 2015 season Tuesday at the Elmira College Spring Invitational, and Friday at the SUNY Cobleskill Spring Invitational.
