The Keuka College men's golf team finished sixth at the annual two-day, North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) championships, which were held at the par-72, 6,549-yard Lakeside Country Club in nearby Penn Yan, N.Y.
The Storm carded a two-day team score of 740 while the defending champion Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptors carded a score of 626 to earn the team title in the seven-team field.
Rutgers-Camden won by two strokes over SUNY Cobleskill, which shot the low score for the day (299) and finished second with a team score of 628.
Penn State-Berks was third with a score of 653, followed by Penn State-Abington (656), Morrisville State (705), Keuka College and Cazenovia College.
The medalist honors came down to a sudden-death playoff, with SUNY Cobleskill senior Travis Deuel edging sophomore Tyler Massar (Berks) in a one-hole playoff.
Sophomore Ben Schreiber (Hilton, NY/Hilton) and senior Zach Terpolilli (Penn Yan, NY/Penn Yan) finished tied for 21st in the field of 34 golfers as both Schreiber and Terpolilli finished with a two-day score of 179.
Terpolilli had an 87 and Schreiber an 88 on day two of NEAC's for the lowest rounds by a Keuka College golfer in the championships.
Freshman Harrison Sardella (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) finished 25th after a two-day score of 187 (95, 92) while senior Nate Schreiber (Hilton, NY/Hilton) finished 29th and classmate Sam Massaro (Dexter, NY/General Brown) was 30th.
