BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Keuka College Men's Basketball team lost to hosts Bryn Athyn College 83-61 on Saturday in a North Eastern Athletic Conference matchup.
The Wolves (1-12, 1-7 NEAC) will stay on the road on Sunday, playing at Penn St.-Abington in another conference game.
After the two teams exchanged layups in the opening minute, the scoring slowed. Four minutes into the contest, the game was tied at 4-4. Bryn Athyn went on a 12-2 run to build a lead against Keuka. The Wolves totaled only 10 points in the opening 10 minutes of action. Keuka College played good defense in the opening half, holding Bryn Athyn without a field goal for an eight minute span. Bryn Athyn opened the second half with a small 6-0 run to build a double-digit lead. Cliff Stevens got Keuka on the board, but a Lions three answered and reestablished the double-digit lead. The Wolves once cut the lead to nine points in the second half, but that would be as close as they would make it. Bryn Athyn went 20-30 from the floor in the second half as they defeated Keuka College 83-61 on Saturday.
