KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Field Hockey team lost on Saturday to Nazareth College by the score of 3-0 at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
Keuka College (0-5) was led offensively by Nicole Wilson with three shots on goal against the Golden Flyers.

The Golden Flyers took an early lead against the Wolves, scoring less than two minutes into the game. Nazareth added to their lead minutes later off of a corner to make it 2-0. Nazareth College would cap the first with another goal as they led 3-0 after one.
The Green and Gold withstood the Nazareth attack and fought back in the second quarter. Keuka College generated a pair of penalty corners in the frame. The Wolves got a shot on goal, but it was saved as the game went to halftime with Nazareth maintaining the 3-0 lead.
The Wolves came out of halftime and pressured the Golden Flyers. Midway through the quarter, Nicole Wilson broke in on goal from 20 yards out. The play resulted in a corner for the Wolves. In the following flurry, the Green and Gold would have two more corners and a handful of shots, but were unable to break through. At the final whistle, Keuka was awarded another corner, but the shot went wide as the game went to the fourth quarter with Nazareth leading 3-0.
Keuka College continued to pressure the Nazareth goal in the fourth quarter. Despite the pressure, all of the Wolves' attempts were saved as Nazareth would go onto the 3-0 victory.

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves will remain at home on Wednesday as they play a rematch from a game earlier in the season. Keuka College will host Keystone College on Wednesday, September 11 at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex at 4pm. The Giants previously defeated the Wolves in Pennsylvania 3-0 a week ago.
