GANSEVOORT, N.Y. — Five members of the Keuka College Field Hockey team were named All-North Eastern Athletic Conference on Wednesday as voted on by the conference coaches.

Along with the All-Conference selections, Keuka College senior Alyssa Orsino was named NEAC Player of the Year and freshman Emily Stallone was named NEAC Rookie of the Year.

Joining Orsino and Stallone on the All-Conference Team was Nicole Wilson, Shelby Lamb, and Taylor Lessard.

Leading Keuka College on the sideline and to the North Eastern Athletic Conference Regular Season title was Head Coach Erika Profenno. She was voted as NEAC Coach of the Year by her peers.

Alyssa Orsino has been a key contributor to Keuka College Field Hockey since the program's beginning. This season, she led the conference in scoring while setting a new single-season record at Keuka with 10 goals. Against NEAC foes, Orsino recorded a pair of hat tricks this season and scored the game-winning goal in two of the three conference victories. It is the third time in her career that she has been named All-Conference.

Freshman Emily Stallone broke into the starting lineup for the Wolves midway through the season. During her stretch of starting, Keuka College recorded four of their five victories. The freshman has anchored back line for the Wolves and helped spark the transition. As a team, Keuka College allowed the fewest goals in the conference. It is the second time in program history that a Keuka College student-athlete has won Rookie of the Year in field hockey.

For the second straight season, Nicole Wilson has been named All-North Eastern Athletic Conference. Wilson was second on the team in scoring with six goals on the season. She ranked third in the NEAC in goals and second in the conference with three assists. Her 15 total points on the season was third best in the conference. Wilson has been peaking for the Wolves as of late, scoring five goals and adding an assist in the last four games.

Joining Wilson in earning her second consecutive All-Conference selection was junior Shelby Lamb. Lamb tied for third on the team with six total points after scoring two goals and adding two assist over the campaign. Patrolling the midfield, Lamb played a key role in the transition and counter-attack game for the Wolves. She joins Wilson and Orsino as the only three players in program history to earn multiple selections.

Rounding out the All-Conference team from Keuka College is junior Taylor Lessard. She recorded one goal on the season, but her impact on the Keuka College offense was much greater. Keuka College led the North Eastern Athletic Conference in penalty corners with 103 this season. Lessard was the primary inserter for the Wolves, starting the plays on most of those offensive opportunities.

The Keuka College Field Hockey team won the regular season title and earned the right to host the 2018 North Eastern Athletic Conference Championship Game. The Wolves will host Wells College at 6pm on Saturday night at the Jephson Community Athletic Center for the championship.
